A new opportunity exists for a Strategy Manager to work closely with the Director of Valuations Corporate Development on all strategic activities related to MA and Corporate Development within the Optus Consumer Group.
This is a great opportunity where you will also support the formulation of strategy for the Group as part of the broader Consumer Strategy team that is responsible for delivering major strategic initiatives and developing the annual strategy and forecasts. In this role you will enjoy managing the analysis and development of new acquisitions and divestment ideas for the Group, as well as post-acquisition integration and support.
Some of the key responsibilities stepping into this role include financial analysis, valuations, due diligence, providing contract negotiation support, post-integration planning, strategy formulation and execution, developing management and board presentations and providing opinions and recommendations to the Executive Leadership team. In addition, you will also be expected to continually assess the Optus competitive position and competitive landscape, through the monitoring and rigorous analysis of competitor activities and results, economic trends, technology trends along with other key industry and regulatory changes.
This role will suit an individual with superior influencing capabilities and is confident in putting forward recommendations to the Executive Leadership team and can work through complex problems and issues that have a significant impact to Optus PL. You will also be someone who has creative out-of-the-box thinking abilities, enjoys staying abreast of global, domestic and market developments and has exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
