There are multiple examples of people progressing internally to other strategy roles and line roles ultimately fast tracking to leadership roles across the business. This is an excellent first step out of a management consulting with the opportunity to see how strategy is formulated, embraced and implemented. There is the opportunity to work really closely with the business and assist in improving performance.
Experience gained in a Tier 1 or boutique strategy consulting firm is preferred. The role is suited to somebody with an analytical, investigative and inquisitive style. Critical to success is a self starter with initiative a positive attitude and a can do approach.
