Strategy Manager recruitment
The successful applicant will lead strategic level projects to fulfil the company's growth and transformation ambitions. You will use economic theory to justify the decision making process by conducting primary and secondary research on countries with focus on social and economic development issues (infrastructure, health, education, etc).
We are looking for a candidate with clear potential to pursue a successful longer-term career with the firm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Measuring the effectiveness of the project concepts strategy by conducting SWOT analysis
- Taking certain precautionary measures to come up with:-
- Suitability of the concept with the overall rationale of the strategy. The key point to consider is whether the strategy would address the key strategic issues underlined by the organization’s strategic position and different relations matrix that the project requires.
- Feasibility is concerned with whether the resources required to implement the strategy are available, can be developed or obtained. Resources include funding, people, time and information.
- Acceptability is concerned with the expectations of the identified stakeholders (mainly shareholders, customers and end users) with the expected performance outcomes, which can be return, risk and stakeholder reactions.
Qualifications Background
- Strong analytical/intellectual skills, evidenced by a good first degree and, most likely, an MBA from a leading business school or equivalent
- A background in a strategy consulting firm, the strategy arm of a ‘big 4’ firm, or an in-house strategy team would be welcomed. Financial Services experience is also desired.
