Stream Software from the Web
Job Description
Spoon.net is a revolutionary web-based desktop that lets you use software and files from any device.
You could be employee number 30 at a startup that expects to double in size by this time next year. Spoon makes groundbreaking software that allows businesses, developers, and consumers to stream full desktop applications straight to their computers — no downloads necessary. Imagine simply installing a small plugin and being able to instantly run Photoshop, Excel, and StarCraft from the web.
Spoon is young, profitable, and could be the Dropbox for apps — you can help make sure it actually happens. Spoon is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can lead our engineers by example to solve complex technological problems, such as:
How do you create a lightweight kernel-within-a-kernel that emulates OS features in user mode?
How do you automatically decompose applications into feature components and predictively deliver them to end users?
How do you instantly synchronize multi-gigabyte files across the Internet?
How do you make packaging applications and components fast and automatic?
If you’re intrigued, we would love for you to apply to join our team.
