Streetlighting Technician Job in West Midlands, Midlands Uk
Working in close partnership with clients, project managers and other technical specialists, you will be involved in the delivery of Exterior Lighting and Electrical consultancy and engineering design services on a wide range of projects. The Senior Technician responsibilities will potentially also include line management and technical guidance for a Technician.
You will have working knowledge in the provision of Lighting Design and Electrical engineering services, the generation of ideas and technical solutions and the analysis and resolution of problems. Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent with knowledge, together with working knowledge in Electrical Engineering/Exterior Lighting, including use of proprietary lighting and electrical design software packages.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCad and other sundry drawing packages would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate the importance of project / financial governance and you will have good organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be able to demonstrate teamwork through your collaborative approach to resourcing. You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety procedures and be able to demonstrate compliance. You will have an aptitude and desire for developing business with both existing and new clients.
