Stress Engineer Job in Derby, Midlands Uk
Project Overview: Working in the Civil Aerospace division of one of the worlds largest Aerospace and Defence organisations, we are looking for a Stress Engineer to carry out stress analysis of Compressor Rotor Blades Vanes.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Recent and relevant Stress Engineering experience
- Aerospace or suitable background (Civil or Defence)
- Understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Experience of using one of the following: Abaqus, Ansys, Patran Nastran
- Understanding of Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and High Cycle Fatigue (HCF)
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous Gas Turbine Experience
- Previous Experience in working for Aerospace companies using Stress Analysis
