Adecco Engineering Technical is currently recruiting for a STRESS ENGINEER for one of our Internationally known clients. This is a DIRECT HIRE position located in their MIAMI facility. This client is a industry leader, financially stable and offers many growth opportunities. In this role you will be responsible for: The design and testing of processes for the manufacture of electronic systems and components. Performs standard engineering assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project. Select engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations. Participate as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment. Direct preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects. Provide technical leadership to a small group of temporarily assigned engineers and technicians. Ensure successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints. Participate in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work. Ability to apply concepts in mechanics of materials and theory of elasticity. Ability to solve complex problems and use sound engineering judgment in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to perform stress calculations using classical hand calculation techniques. Must be skilled in Nastran or similar FEA program. Performs other related duties as required. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university; and minimum three years related experience and/or training.
