Leading Investment Bank is looking for a AVP Business Analyst with a background in Product Control with a good working knowledge of a wide range of products and how they are accounted for and interact with Ledger systems. The team has responsibility for the delivery of a number of front to back and cross-functional programmes on behalf of Finance.
The team has a mix of professional programme and project managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, responding and driving the work of upstream project managers and IT, as well as managing change to the Finance system architecture in conjunction with Finance IT.
The bank requires a Finance Change Lead Business Analyst to lead change projects for a very important Change Programme for the Finance Change function in Finance. This programme delivers system and process change to remediate control weaknesses for London. The programme responds to heavy user demand for improved ledger and source system processes and controls.
Perform planning and communication of project delivery, including maintaining project plans, giving status updates, and managing risks and issues.
Should ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA) with several years spent in line Product Control as a Product Controller who has then gone on to manage a global Finance Change / Finance Transformation. Possess confident communication skills to effectively liaise with both the Front Office, As well as excellent organisational skills and ability to deal with multiple priorities at any one time.
