Structural Engineer
IMMEDIATE NEED with a leading engineering firm located in Minneapolis, MN. Client is searching for a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join their team on a direct hire basis.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for structural design tasks for industrial facilities
- Assignments will be varied and can include such items as specification preparation, design and analysis calculations, detail definition, evaluation of existing facilities
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with Master degree preferred, Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) or Professional Engineer(PE)
- 5 - 10 years experience in industrial projects. Applicable sectors include: Power, Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Pulp Paper, and/or Mining
- Experience with foundation design as well as industrial structural systems (steel and concrete)is required
- Position will require an ability to make independent decisions on engineering problems andmethods, define options, and articulate the best solution(s) to the team
- Must have proficiency in any one of the industry standard structural analysis programs such as: STAAD,RISA, TEKLA, or SAP
- AutoCad experience is a plus
- Must have valid US passport or able to obtain a passport, and ability to travel
