About our Client

This organisation provides engineering, management and specialist technical services to clients across Australia and internationally. Working on a number of high profile mining projects with a diverse range of clients across Western Australia, the company requires a Structural Engineer to join the Mining and Industrial sector in the Perth office.

Job Description

• Development of project scopes and proposals
• Development of designs and specifications for materials handling structures
• Application of relevant Australian Codes, Standards and Practices
• Site inspections, assessment and technical reporting for remediation of materials handling structures

The Successful Applicant

• Previous experience working on materials handling projects over the last 7+ years
• Extensive experience and knowledge of the Western Australian market over the last 5+ years
• Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering
• Experience in mentoring of junior engineers and drafters
• Confident liaising with clients, sub-consultants, contractors and other engineering disciplines
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork and self motivation
