Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy located on the CBD fringe. Due to the demands of a rapidly growing team and a strong pipeline of projects from established clients, a requirement now exists for an operational manager to oversee multiple engineering teams.
You will be joining an already well developed and high performing team of engineers and drafters and will be responsible for leading and further developing the group on a day to day basis. This will include overseeing all business functions including client relations, business development, staff management and assisting with technical engineering matters.
Ideally you will be an engineer with a strong understanding in the field of structural engineering working for a consultancy. You will have previous experience in managing a medium sized team the ability to multi-task in a high performing environment. Previous experience of having managed across a variety of disciplines would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have proven commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets. Ideally you will also hold an MBA or other business qualification.
