Position Requirements:
Seeking an Analyst for the Latin American Structured Finance group. The position will primarily involve monitoring the performance of existing transactions and participate on the rating of new securitizations in Latin America. The transactions types will vary widely, but will include Future Flows, Residential Mortgage Backed, and other emerging market asset classes. Responsibilities will include the maintenance of various databases, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, preparing presentations, making presentations to credit committees, reviewing deal documents, writing and publishing research reports and communicating with investors, issuers, investment bankers and the press. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish with 0-3 years of credit experience, a Business degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, good business skills and excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. Formal bank credit training, financial modeling, experience with legal documents and /or Portuguese language skills a plus.
