Structured Products - Sole Counsel
Renowned international financial institution with an expanding structured products business in the Asia region requires a senior lawyer with experience in structured products/ derivatives to provide legal advice, risk and transaction management support across all assets classes (in particular credit, equity and funds) to it's structuring team.
The successful candidate will be the sole lawyer supporting this business inAsiaand will require a deep familiarity with the Asian structured products markets. Communication, judgement and problem solving skills will be paramount in this business facing role.
Applicants should have at least seven years' post qualification experience and at least two years working in-house in this field of law. The prospective joiner will demonstrate the required technical and analytical skills suitable for the role including a knowledge and expertise in a full range of OTC derivative products (including repo and stock lending), structured notes programmes (listed and unlisted) and experience structuring and executing non-standard secured/unsecured derivatives and structured products transactions.
Our client needs a lawyer who is a strong team player, who effectively handles difficult requests, and can build trusting, long-term relationships with traders, structurers and clients in a start-up environment. An excellent remuneration package and bonus potential is available.
