Overview:
Deutsche Bank's Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) division comprises of three businesses - Markets, Corporate Finance and Global Transaction Banking. CIB Markets is one of the largest business lines of Deutsche Bank. It comprises all Sales, Trading and Research activities in Debt and Equity products.
CIB Markets is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the Rates Structuring team in Birmingham. Rates Structuring is responsible for the structuring of all interest rate products in both the cash and derivatives space. Rates has been a market leader in products like interest rate swaps, interest rate options, forward rate agreements and exotic interest rate products on the asset and liability side.
Key Responsibilities:
*core rates product development support:
-includes any product related to rates, for example from bond/repo to swap/swaption to exotic derivatives
-includes index development
-involvement at every stage of the process chain, for example conception/backtest/analysis/DBIQ+legal+controlling functions liason
*produce and maintain marketing material for aforementioned product space
*modelling and pricing related structures
*after sales support and client maintenance, for example regular index reports and rates marketing booklet, servicing client queries related to transacted structures
*client portfolio studies and analysis, solution-based approach problem solving
*other ad hoc analysis support
You will have:
*A strong finance/engineering/mathematics background through relevant undergraduate studies from a top tier University
*An MSc in a finance related subject
*A deep understanding of Rates products and associated pricing models
*Superior communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail
You will be:
*Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges
*Diligent, efficient and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables including working under pressure
*Be comfortable in a technical environment
*Comfortable in a technical environment
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
