Position Description
Fall 2012 Engineering Internship/Co-op. These are great opportunities in Washington State to work on Boeing Commercial Airplane programs for 6 months. Performs limited structural analysis/design using well defined analysis/design tools and processes to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Participates in various test activities substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Works under close supervision. Apply modern computer aided analysis/design techniques and classical analysis/design techniques to ensure structural integrity and vehicle performance.

Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various engineering departments/disciplines as well as how their products/process interacts with one another. Basic Qualifications For Consideration
Are you currently enrolled at a college or university studying in one of the following engineering programs (Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace/Astronautical or Civil)?
Does your school have a Co-op program and/or support 6 month Co-ops?
Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED.

FALL 2012 Engineering Internship/Co-op opportunity which requires Co-op program support by attending a college or university. * Previous internship preferred. * US Person status required. * Working toward ABET Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace/Astronautical or Civil - Sophomore or Junior standing preferred. * Candidates should demonstrate a minimum overall GPA of 2.8 (3.0 preferred). GPA must be included in resume for consideration. * Jobs will be located in various Puget Sound locations (Everett, Renton, Seattle, Bellevue, Mukilteo or Auburn) * Successful candidates will become part of the Boeing Mechanical/Structural Engineering team.
