The Admissions Team Representative will focus on outbound sales calling for our school programs. The Representative will also receive, respond to, and process incoming calls and email as the workload requires. This is not a telemarketing position; however we are an outbound sales team. We use a "soft sell" approach by proactively contacting students who have shown an interest in our programs. Candidate should be prepared to make 80-90 outbound calls daily. They should anticipate spending at least 4.5 hours daily on the phone and will be expected to meet monthly enrollment targets.
Essential Functions:
- Make outbound sales calls to students or parents that have expressed an interest in our program
- Handle occasional inbound sales and customer service calls
- Participate in market research calls to current and/or past students as well as school officials
- Follow-up on customer inquiries that have been submitted to our website
- Recommend appropriate courses based on students needs
- Other related projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have demonstrated revenue-generating ability
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong customer focus
- Outgoing, friendly, flexible, helpful personality are critical
- A penchant for teamwork and a positive attitude
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with customers (internal and external) in a professional manner
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Must be highly self motivated and task oriented
- Passion for the educational market and our mission
- High school diploma is required
- Previous experience in the sales industry is preferred
