The Human resources training intern or co-op position offers the opportunity to apply educational experiences to real world industrial applications. Experiences are offered that encompass both existing programs/ processes as well as ground up opportunities to design and develop new programs/processes focused on employee development and training.

The position is designed for the student actively seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Labor Relations, Employee Training and Development.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist in the roll-out of the updated the new Learning Management System (LMS)
• Data entry of daily classes and schedules
• Recording keeping of student enrollments and completions
• Create student/employee groups and maintenance of groups
• Maintenance of annual refresher classes and monthly scheduling
• Transcript maintenance and review
• Review current qualification records for each division
• Data entry of all qualification records into the new LMS
• Maintenance and review of employee Qualification records quarterly
• Review LMS and create a running list of annual refresher classes and employee due dates
• Schedule annual refresher classes and schedule employees to attend
• Communicate regularly with department administration and schedulers
• Training room set-ups
• Communicate training information to departments
• Schedule special equipment usage
• Assemble training manuals and materials

Job requirements:
• Candidates must be full-time students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Labor Relations, Law or Employee Development Training.
• Candidates must have completed or be working towards completion of their sophomore year and in good standing.
