Student Experience Co-ordinator Job in Buckinghamshire HP218PD, Southern UK
Our Client is looking for a Student Experience Co-ordinator to work within the Marketing team and be accountable and responsible for all schools liaison activity. To be accountable for increasing student applications from schools. To be accountable and responsible for planning and delivering excellent College events and overseeing the Atrium including displays.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
-Develop and implement marketing strategies for the College’s key segment of student recruitment
-To be responsible and accountable for all schools liaison activity. To personally develop and lead an extensive programme of schools visits.
-To maintain and develop the College’s external reputation by developing excellent communication channels with feeder schools
-To be accountable for increasing student applications from schools. To work closely with schools and potential College students to achieve increased student numbers. Targets to be set by Marketing Manager and results monitored.
-To develop, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, a range of marketing collateral for schools and school students to increase student recruitment.
-To develop and deliver an extensive programme of schools liaison including regular taster sessions and other College events. To work with a range of colleagues cross-College to effectively deliver these events.
-To be responsible and accountable for the planning and delivery of all College student recruitment events including Open Days and IAG days.
-To produce and maintain a rolling 12 month calendar of College student recruitment events.
-To use structured event planning tools to plan, co-ordinate and deliver high quality College events to enrich students experience and/or drive student recruitment.
-Create a culture of involvement for students, including working the Student Council, Student President and outside bodies e.g. NUS.
-To be the line manager for the Student President and supervise their activities
-Support College equality schemes, for example through producing high quality displays in the Atrium.
-To be responsible for the College Atrium Area – visual standards, ambiance and notice boards throughout the College.
-Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies in supporting learner involvement within the College, including the National Union of Students.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Marketing, preferably within an education setting. A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C or above are essential, along with a Level 3 qualification in either Marketing or Event Management. They should be able to easily engage with both current and prospective students, with excellent communication skills and a positive, pro-active attitude. The ability to provide excellent customer service is also essential.
