Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking a qualified Student Wellness Coordinator for a part-time position. This position requires working with students in updating records, making records available to hospitals, students and clinics as needed. The candidate must be proficient in recognizing signs of allergic reactions, able to perform basic life support and administer injections if patient is showing signs of anaphylaxis. Duties include: give injections, order and monitor supplies, communicate within the guidelines of HIPAA, Work with large groups in vaccinations efficiently, computer skills including blackboard, email, e-value, VSAS Microsoft word and excel and shared files, maintain BCLS and ACLS, maintain license as required by the state of Georgia.
Must have 3-5 years of experience or more post graduate work and understands GRITS and the requirements for recording immunizations in the state of Georgia. Must be Licensed/Certified as a RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant.
