Sub-Advisory Client Relations Manager recruitment
The successful candidate will work closely with the various investment product groups, operational areas and sales team(s) from the onset of a relationship with the client. The candidate will establish investment objectives, guidelines and asset allocation in line with client needs, including facilitating the account opening process. On an ongoing basis, the individual will serve as the primary client contact as it relates to communicating organizational and portfolio changes, as well as investment performance. He/she is responsible for maintaining and growing client assets under management by liaising with the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Able to gain the confidence of our clients and their consultants
- Develop close internal relationships with investment, sales, marketing, client reporting, operational, and administrative professionals, as well as with client-service colleagues
- A highly organized individual with extensive knowledge of investments and the US Retail/Intermediary marketplace
- Strong writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
- The candidate will have a strong interest in the industry, and knowledge of current economic and financial market trends
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7-10 years experience in the institutional asset management industry.
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA and/or CFA a plus
- Candidate traits that are highly desired for the role: initiative, thoroughness, resourcefulness, a desire to continually learn, the ability to handle multiple projects at once and a firm willingness to function as a team member
