Top tier investment bank based in London (Canary Wharf) is looking for knowledgeable and committed business analysts. As part of a growing team in a very high profile change programme, they are in the process of replacing 34 PL reporting applications with one, all encompassing finance subledger system.
The project is being led by finance, but these requirements are more operations change focused. Analysing and understanding what the implications and requirements are for operational processes. Appreciate the impacts of these changes, not least with systems like Summit and potential replacements to it.
Your work will be based around understanding current state, impact of the new system, planning how to roll out the system and managing options. The roles are anaytical, strategic and creative. They want people who can be innovative in their approach and to question business requirements documentation at every stage of the process.
The next 2 years of the programme will be centred around Loans, FX and Commodities and their related derivatives. The next 2 will be more equity derivative related. The team is primarily based in the UK with some resources in the US and Asia.
We need ambitious qualified acountants who have strong change management skills who can combine this with front to back operational experience from an investment bank.
