Subcontract Administrator Sr

Specific Job Description Requires working knowledge of FAR and LMAP and related LM GSCM policies and procedures. Individual will be required to work Programs and proposals across the business as may be necessary to support business needs. Individual will be expected to work a variety of subcontract types, procuring a variety of items from services to major hardware systems or software development efforts, etc. Assist in preparing bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors by contributing knowledge of either cost and pricing, finance, accounting, estimating and program control (to include managing project budgets and schedules). Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. Negotiate and establish Teaming Agreements. The position requires excellent detail analysis and strong communication skills in working with suppliers and internal customers. Background in both conflict management as well as strong, demonstrated organizational skills are desired. Microsoft office proficient required and the ability to make presentations and to interface with senior exeutives. Standard Job Description Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
