Subcontracts Administrator Job

The Enterprise Mission Solutions Business Unit of SAIC currently has an opening for a Subcontracts Administrator. In this position, the successful candidate will develop, negotiate and administer subcontract agreements and acquisition aspects in new business proposals of mid to high dollar value, risk, creativity and complexity. Creates highly complex solicitations, supports proposals, conducts price and cost analysis, and negotiates price/cost and price/cost-related terms and other subcontract or other agreement provisions. The SCA will input invoices into the SPO system, check invoices for errors and meticulously go check travel invoices against Federal Travel Regulations. The SCA plays a significant role in ensuring compliance with required performance while working on highly complex assignments. Creates and implements effective acquisition strategies for the purchase of goods and services. The SCA typically places or works on subcontracts valued at up to $500,000 and may work on subcontracts of higher value with oversight from more senior staff. The successful candidate is responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of staff and they may supervise and serve as a mentor for less experienced staff. The SCA will be a part of a team; obtaining business solutions on complex, nonstandard subcontract agreements. The candidate determines methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. They will regularly interact with other procurement organization staff, functional peer groups, suppliers, and internal customers. The SCA represents Procurement in interactions with senior management on a variety of subcontracting matters to solve procedural or process related issues associated with the Program Start Up phase of a new award. Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (in Business Administration or related field) and 5+ years related experience.
