Overview
Risk and Performance (RP) is a newly created function with a hub and spoke model. The team is a part of the Global Finance and Foreign Exchange (GFFX) Chief Operating Office (COO) organization and will focus on Operational Risk, Regulatory Reporting, New Product Agreements (NPA) assessment coordination, Resiliency, Capacity Planning initially.
There is a growing requirement from the Global Regulatory bodies for increasing transparency through transaction/position reporting, disaster recovery and resiliency planning, and onshore supervision. Aside from providing technical support to build and deliver this reporting, you will support the Risk and Performance team to collate analysis on the above topics, plan and implement strategy to mitigate risk, or improve process control and efficiency. The RP function will develop and implement Key performance indicators (KPI’s) and provide KPI analytics for the Global Finance and Foreign Exchange business.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Review of offshore service centres to develop a documentation to show approved functions for each entity
- Annual Risk Reviews of Outsourcing Projects
- Review of headcount Regulatory Requirements
- Build document directory and process reference document
- Consolidation of Approved Offshoring
- Build of onshore Capacity planning models for 3 agreed trial areas
- New Product Approvals - Review and Process Re-Engineer
- Review and completion of Global Business Services (GBS) Global Functional Mapping Template
- Regulatory Reporting - Global Review of GFFX Regulatory Reporting production
- Control Management Information and Functional Review
Candidate requirements
You will have:
- Previous experience of working in either an Investment bank, Accounting, Tax, Audit or Consulting Firm
- Previous exposure to Global Finance Foreign Exchange
- Experience of working on MS Office ( MS Excel/Access/SQL) and prior experience in MIS Domain
- Excellent analytic skills
- Strong communication interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders up to and including senior management
- The ability to communicate effectively (oral written) strong interpersonal skills
You will be:
- Degree Qualified or equivalent in a quantitative or technical discipline
- ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA qualified or equivalent
- Familiar with Financial Services and RISK topics in particular
- A strong team player
- Well organized able to clearly present the results of your work.
