SUBSURFACE REGULATORY ADVISOR

The Subsurface Regulatory Advisor will develop and lead strategies to maximize life-cycle value of leasehold positions for exploration, development and production assets from a subsurface, regulatory perspective.  This individual will develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision making regulators regarding Company’s exploration, development and production operations.  This individual will also negotiate Company’s leasehold positions, provide regulatory functional leadership and guidance to staff and management, and effectively engage regulatory agencies in a timely manner.

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field
•    15+ years experience in regulatory-focused role; prefer experience in both the upstream and downstream sectors within the oil gas industry
•    Strong communication skills with proven ability to distill and communicate complex messages or strategies to internal and external stakeholders
•    Proven interpersonal skills to integrate relationships with regulators, non-governmental organizations and internal stakeholders
