Job description This is an outstanding opportunity for an engineering college major or entry level engineering college graduate for our manufacturing facility in Hillsboro, NH. OSRAM SYLVANIA is the #1 lighting manufacturer in North America and a worldwide leader in lighting solutions. Our products feature innovative design and energy saving technology. We sell products for homes, businesses and vehicles primarily under the SYLVANIA brand name in the US, and operate under the OSRAM brand in Europe, China and beyond. Around 60 percent of sales come from energy-efficient products. As one of three Summer Engineering Interns at our Hillsboro Plant, you will assist with a variety of Automotive Lighting and Display Optic related projects. Responsibilities may include: Building prototype customer samples, testing of product to ensure USCAR and SAE performance requirements, data analysis, creating technical reports and preparing customer presentations. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of engineering tools, skill sets, and technologies that may include CAD design (Unigraphics, Solid Works), Minitab (Statistical), High Temperature Advanced Coatings, Halogen Forward Lighting, Auxiliary Lighting, and LED Lighting (Automotive and Stage) Duration of the internship is May through August 2012
