Now, we at Nokia IT are looking for enthusiastic and energetic IT Trainee to join our Product Creation Infrastructure team for the summer 2012. One of the main goals of Product Creation Infrastructure is to increase productivity of Nokia Product Creation units and RD programs. This is accomplished by providing an efficient set of platforms, solutions and tools which are deployed and maintained to meet the demanding needs of Nokia RD and the Nokia collaborators in remote premises. This is an excellent place to develop a broad view of Nokia IT, learn about the newest technologies and ways of working.
Once onboard, you will have a range of tasks and duties including helping in server room (rack-mount, clean up when needed, general maintenance), review/update internal documentation, co-operate with specialist in operating system installation, patching and other similar tasks. You will work under the supervision of the nominated tutor within the local team.
To seize this exciting opportunity, you are currently studying Information Technology at either Polytechnic (AMK) or University. It will help your application make it to the top of the pile if you may have any existing knowledge in IT hardware and operating systems, such as Windows, Unix or Linux.
On a more personal note, you have strong team working skills. You are committed to your work and take responsibility for actions and projects assigned to you. Motivated and keen to learn, you enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced global environment. To communicate efficiently in our international organization, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
