SUPERVISOR
SUPERVISOR - EXEMPT
Under the direction of the Director/Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for monitoring productivity and motivating associates. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect for the respective area.
- Identifies issues effecting efficiencies and assists in developing solutions
- Monitors productivity and motivates associates
- Ensures that all paperwork is properly documented
- Keeps accurate attendance records; file proper reports (accident, probation, etc)
- Supervises, counsels and coaches associates on a regular basis
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Experience in a food manufacturing setting preferred
- Experience in gel encapsulation also preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Intermediate PC skills
- High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
- Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environment
