Supervisor- Asian Core Operations
Responsibilities - Primary
- Locally supervise the Asian Operations representatives.
- Active support to Fund Managers and traders for all ops queries in Asia.
- Data management of pricing feeds and manual pricing, where applicable, to ensure accurate valuing of client portfolios.
- Creation of exchange traded and OTC securities.
- Maintenance of static data for securities.
- Full understanding of PAM data flows.
- Controlling risk and procedures associated with all daily tasks.
- Works under direct responsibility of Head Data Management and Head of Transactional Processing.
Responsibilities – Secondary
- Provide additional in depth support to Fund Managers and traders in the matching of OTC derivatives (IRS, CDS, equity swap), FX instruments (including FX Options) and securities (equities, bonds), and ensure a high quality of service on a daily basis.
- Additional validation tasks as required by management.
Profile
- Must have relevant experience gained in an asset management related function. This would involve data management and pricing, with reconciliations and Transaction processing as a plus.
- Security standing data set-up.
- Pricing of bonds, equities and derivatives.
- Bloomberg/Reuters or similar.
- Business analysis and data architecture.
- Very good skills / knowledge of FI and OTC products.
- Understanding of FI Analytics – sourcing / calculations.
- Bloomberg/Reuters/Telekurs/Markit.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Results oriented and numerate.
- Technically competent in the analytical use of data.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Leadership and Supervision skills.
- Good organization and able to plan and manage time effectively to achieve and meet objectives.
- Fluent in English.
- Based in Singapore.
