Supervisor, Branch Job in East Chicago, Indiana Us

Ensures excellent customer service, and grows market share, by supervising inside sales operations including customer service, equipment rental and merchandise sales. Maintains excellent customer relations and service standards. Recommends changes to current inside sales procedures based on team performance and new selling techniques.
- Manages day-to-day counter operations by overseeing inside sales activities including managing customer accounts, resolving customer concerns and developing new account and service contract opportunities. Recommends new selling techniques, and provides guidance to inside sales employees, to optimize performance.
- Demonstrates commitment to customer service by resolving customer complaints, problems and issues. Develops customer contacts and keeps current on all rental equipment and product offerings. Implements procedures to ensure the proper tracking and documentation of customer data.
- Provides effective planning by establishing systems to control expenses. Assists in establishing sales and profit goals for the location. Plans facilities and ensures proper inventory levels are maintained.
- Meets or exceeds safety and 5S standards by effectively communicating procedures and verifying that procedures are being followed. Helps implement any location safety programs to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
- Increases operational effectiveness by having a significant impact on recruiting, training, developing and retaining qualified employees. Provides day-to-day supervision for counter/inside sales employees.

Two years experience in a work leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail environment. Previous rental or related industry experience a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Demonstrated supervisory, sales and customer service skills. Must interact with internal and external customers in a cooperative and professional manner.
- Effective communication skills to direct employees and communicate with store, district and region management.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with computer systems, required.
