Supervisor Facility Operations Specialist Ll
DUTIES: Serves as Facilities Manager for the Central California Area Office (CCAO) Lake Berryessa recreation resources office. -Reviews and approves contractor proposals for construction of a wide range of new recreation facilities. -Plans and conducts a continuous inspection program during construction and throughout the life of contractor facilities to ensure compliance with applicable codes -Maintains a broad range of government-owned facilities -Develops and implements Vegetation Management Plans, Pest Control Plans, Housing Management Plans, and other operational documents -Serves as the facility Hazardous Material and Waste Coordinator, Safety Officer, and Environmental Management Coordinator. -Serves as Contracting Officer Representative (COTR) for a variety of construction, supply, and service contracts. -Serves as project manager for individual demolition, construction, and extraordinary maintenance or repair projects. -Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities for the Section within delegated authority and in compliance with the laws, policies, and procedures governing employee selection, reassignment and merit promotion, performance management, conduct and discipline, training and development, employee recognition, and position management.
