Description

The Supervisor II reports to the Unit Manager and will lead a Middle Office Client Service Delivery team. The candidate will supervise a team of up to 8 Service Delivery Specialists across one or more teams and ensure the delivery of middle office services in accordance with client service level agreements, company and departmental policies and procedures, and in line with market practices. The Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day operations and quality control for some or all of the following functions: IBOR accounting (Investment Book of Record), securities and cash transaction capture and enrichment, trade support, securities settlement, client and third-party query management, securities and/or account reconciliations, portfolio valuations, financial statement production, reporting (client, regulatory, management and /or partnership accounting), new account set-up, asset transfer support, cash management support and fee billing. Primary duties include personnel management, performance measurement, staff training development, resource planning, hiring, on-boarding of new associates, supervision of day to day operations, operations leadership, operational risk management, service quality of team, on-boarding of new business, execution of workflow control enhancements, and the execution of project deliverables. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining effective operating procedures and controls for the team, fostering a continuous process improvement culture and maintaining key performance indicators and Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) for the team. The incumbent will also partner with the Relationship and Client Service Teams to address client issues, needs and new business requirements. They will participate in client meetings and act as an escalation point for the client operationally.

Qualifications

The Supervisor will be required to effectively interface with various global institutions within the financial services industry including Custodian Banks, Asset Managers, Valuation Agents, Securities Lending Agents, Brokers and Mutual Fund Administrators. They will also be required to effectively work with peers across various internal functional teams and operational Centers of Excellence globally located in the Americas, EMEA and APAC The incumbent will be assigned site wide initiatives, serve as coverage for Senior Manager, support increased client contact and mentor and train Supervisors.
