JOB TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor - Assembly
FUNCTION:
Supervises maintenance personnel and plant production machinery. Assists with design and implementation of engineering projects.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
2. Plan, direct and prioritize daily work activities for maintenance personnel.
3. Review and evaluate maintenance personnel performance.
4. Assists Plant Engineer in future planning for both equipment and personnel.
5. Assists in management of preventative maintenance program. Receives, distributes, supervises execution, collects and reports completed PM?s.
6. Works in unison with engineering to improve and update machinery.
7. Works with all departments to design and implement projects.
8. Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting of equipment.
9. Assist in equipment validation. Tasks include writing and executing validation documents as well as assisting with equipment startup and troubleshooting.
10. Write and assign work orders.
11. Implements training programs for maintenance personnel.
12. Adhere to all Company policies.
13. Follow all training procedures at all times.
14. Use good housekeeping practices to maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
15. Follow all safety rules and safety procedures.
Marginal Job Functions:
Familiar with and follow lean/continuous improvement activities.
Must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts at least 1-2 weeks/quarter.
Perform other duties as required and /or assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum - AA Degree.
Extensive background in mechanical assembly, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatics.
Minimum 3 years technical management experience.
