Supervisor – Middle Office (Corporate Actions) recruitment

You will be responsible for the day to day elements as well as mentoring members of the team, acting as an escalation point and signing off the work within the team. You will also be responsible for helping migrate this process from the US to London. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and reviewing all corporate action notices from the custodians
- Processing both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions into their inhouse system
- Liaise with the Investment Staff with regards to the events and retrieve instructions from the Investment team. Ensuring responses are relayed to the custodian within the set deadlines
- Resolving any reconciliation issues relating to Corporate Actions
- Take responsibility for all investment data including setting up new securities across multiple asset classes and maintain securities by using various systems to monitor
- Perform security research based on client inquiries or system alerts from the Investment team
- Independently assess downstream impacts of data issues and errors, determine appropriate solutions, taking responsibility for implementation and communicate this to all affected parties
- Research and define security process
- Research exceptions on securites, documenting rationale and finalise security pricing in APAC region
- Participate in a number of projects and system and testing initiatives
- Identify any potential risks and review procedures and controls with the objective of improving quality and efficiency
To be considered for this role you must have experience in at least two of the following Corporate Actions, Pricing and Investment Data from an Investment Management business and have had prior experience in mentoring, training and signing off work. You must be a adaptable, proactive and motivated individual who works well under pressure with a high attention to detail with the ability to work with the Investment teams globally. IAQ qualified would be extremely beneficial.
