SUPERVISOR, PATIENT ACCOUNTS Job in Boston 02114, Massachusetts Us

Description:
• Develop, implement, and audit department policies and procedures.

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of quality control programs to accomplish desired goals.

• Maintain a current knowledge of All Third Party Payer rules and regulations as they apply to inpatient and Outpatient billing and follow up.

• Coordinate the timely billing and/or collection of all Third Party Claims.

• Develop, evaluate and review with individual employee’s annual reviews and monthly QA assessments.

• Prepare the daily Reports from Medi Finance.

• Assist manager in individual projects, as needed.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years experience working with-in Patient Accounts.

• High School diploma required. A Bachelors or Associate Degree preferred.

• Minimum of five years working in a healthcare receivables environment

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems and organize and prioritize work assignments.

• Requires high-level verbal and interpersonal skills in order to deal with insurance and employee problems and communicate effectively with staff and outside parties.
