Eng IV Supplier Quality

Job Description:

Implement supplier quality and development activities to provide Goodrich Sensors and Integrated Systems with a world-class supply base to meet or exceed quality, cost, and delivery performance targets.

Responsibilities:

Supplier quality engineering for electro-mechanical commodities.* Select, develop, and manage key suppliers to meet performance goals.* Implement programs for supplier risk assessment, supplier performance measurement, and supplier quality improvement to accomplish goals and objectives.* Implement Lean / Six Sigma projects with suppliers.* Participate and support overall Goodrich SIS Supply Chain Management activities as required.

Basic Qualifications:
* Strong supplier relationship management skills.* Supplier quality engineering experience and applied knowledge with 8D root cause analysis, PFMEA/Control Plans, Lean, and statistical process control.* Understanding of Aerospace market segment quality system requirements and standards (AS9100, etc.) and supplier auditing.* Strong interpersonal communication skills.* Understanding of Supplier Quality Management and business systems, including automated ERP, corrective action, and audit management systems.* Lean Practitioner and Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent)* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education / Training:
* College degree in Business Management, Science, Engineering, or related field required* ASQ or equivalent certification (CQE, CQA, etc.) preferred * Minimum of 5 years of supply chain management or supplier quality management experience.* Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office or similar spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications, and Minitab or similar statistical analysis applications.
