Linde is currently seeking a Supply Area Manager to join the team in the Rock River, Wisconsin area. Job Responsibilities: â-ª Ensure production and transport activities are integrated â-ª Manage the safety, health, environmental and quality compliance on all plants to include the production and transport considerations within the area to optimize overall activities â-ª Drive the four Supply tenets through the area - lead safely, plan to execute - execute to plan, help drivers drive, never be satisfied to continuously improve. â-ª Cross training and leveraging of area resources â-ª Interface with peers in driving continuous improvement and application of BOP â-ª Ensure single point of contact for customer issues to/from markets team â-ª Plan and execute the maintenance management activities in the area ensuring use of defined systems and processes â-ª Develop major maintenance scopes for communication to appropriate support function areas â-ª Ensure contingency plans are in place in the area to minimize loss to the business â-ª Ensure cross training of staff across supply processes â-ª Ensure trained and prepared driver and equipment resources are available to the meet the daily transport schedule requirements Minimum Qualifications: â-ª Engineering degree or equivalent of 3-5 years field experience required, preferably in a technical discipline â-ª Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus â-ª Proficiency troubleshooting process or equipment problems â-ª Must be proficient in computer applications and preventative maintenance programs â-ª Must possess visible, change leadership, strong team management, and coaching skills â-ª Strong communication skills essential â-ª Strong management skills to direct â-ª Must possess proven experience implementing process improvements, best practice and/or change management initiatives â-ª Demonstrated track record in solid safety performance Linde offers excellent salaries, world-class benefits, and unparalleled opportunities for development all to create an invigorating and satisfying environment.
