Description:
Volt has partnered with a leading company in Aliso Viejo to help identify an experienced Supply Chain Analyst for an immediate opportunity. In this role you would be responsible for supporting channel strategy, supply chain metrics, and inventory management strategy and execution. Detailed responsibilities will include but are not limited to: developing new forecasting, order replenishment and logistics channel decision processes; identifying all key stakeholders, owners, and resources needed to execute; educating and influencing all key supply chain stakeholders on the benefits of the new processes; developing decision support tools and financial models to analyze the cost/benefit tradeoffs of inventory; analyzing multi-tier distribution channels to determine cost and service level tradeoffs for product categories; developing forecasting tools to support collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers; conducting day-to-day business analysis supporting the supply chain managers; supporting all central replenishment activities including: development of new forecasting tools, meeting with vendors to collaborate inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies, partner with merchants to plan for promotions, price changes, and ski exit strategies, manage the day-to-day replenishment activities, answer store replenishment questions and report and follow up on all key inventory metrics; training and educating analysts on supply chain strategies, inventory management strategies, analysis techniques and tool development; and providing access to a broad range of resources and business contacts for the analysts to be successful in their projects. Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have recent experience in supply chain, purchasing and forecasting with advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Criminal background check and drug test are required.
