ROLE
To lead develop and transform the capability and responsibility for the UK Supply Chain function
To play a pivotal role in the transformation of the financial, commercial and strategic direction of the business, operating at board level. This is a real heavyweight opportunity for a charismatic Supply Chain Director.
Play a key role in the contribution to the formulation of company vision and strategy
Develop the supply chain infrastructure, setting objectives for the functions in line with the business plan
Maintain and expand customer relationships with the proactive management of risk
Develop and implement a structure capable of delivering supply base rationalisation and new product innovation
Deliver lean techniques implementing and developing backoffice technology solutions
REQUIREMENTS
Heavyweight senior level supplychain experience with a charismatic approach to leadership
Experience of developing supply chain strategies within large manufacturing environments.
Experience of delivering step change transforming supply chain purchasing functions into world class
Experienced in budgetary control, financial forecasting and profit and loss accounting - data led and driven by person
Advanced presentation, negotiation and networking skills
Advanced coaching and mentoring skills
