Supply Chain & Finance Analyst

A world leading FMCG in Richmond have an immediate need for a supply chain finance analyst to join their team. As supply chain analyst, you can expect to handle inventory and warehouse issues whilst also assisting the financial controlling team with their daily tasks.

The roles responsibilities will be split between supply chain and finance.

Supply Chain
* Handling daily warehousing and transport issues
* Handling and resolving exceptions
* Performing daily stock reconciliations, generate supporting reports and ensure accurate position at month end (volume)
* Calculate monthly KPIs
* Prepare for and lead monthly meeting with Logistics company(s)
* Create / maintain / delete Purchase orders for Logistics
* Monitor and review Logistics costs on a monthly basis
* Invoice 3rd party distributors on a monthly basis
* Handle stock transport orders in SAP
* Monitor and resolve issues with electronic document exchanges
* Monitor and resolve issues with track trace applications
* Note - may involve occasional travel to meet with our logistics operations in the Midlands and Yorkshire

Finance Controlling
* Performing daily stock reconciliations, generate supporting reports and ensure accurate position at month end (value)
* Preparing purchase orders for logistics and warehousing costs and ensuring accurate accruals at month end
* Supporting Supply Chain Supervisor and Financial Controlling Senior Finance Analyst in coordinating, witnessing and accounting for stock destructions
* Assist Financial Controlling Senior Finance Analyst with European stock submissions
* Assist Financial Controlling Senior Finance Analyst with Capital Expenditure submissions, capitalisations, approvals, management and internal reporting
* Assist Financial Controlling Senior Finance Analyst with Excise Tax reporting, claims and Intrastat reporting
* Ad hoc support to Financial Controlling Senior Finance Analyst as required

To excel in this role you will ideally have the following traits and qualifications;

PQ accountant or studied a numerate degree (Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics)
Experience within FMCG industry
in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain
Advanced excel
