The Supply Chain / Life Cycle Management Analyst is responsible for ensuring data integrity related to planning and manufacturing in systems that include but is not limited to: ERP, APS, and labeling system. S/he provides franchise representation on enterprise wide product data teams and ensures that best practices are followed based on enterprise data strategies. The Analyst makes recommendations for process improvements in the area of supply chain systems and data management, provides support for manufacturing system technical assistance and analyzes data across products including raw materials and finished goods.
The Analyst Applies lean thinking to make recommendations regarding supply chain cost improvement projects and creates reports that effectively represent data. Moderate exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making selections and techniques of engineering alternatives and receives general direction on new aspects of assignments. The Analyst completes engineering change orders to make appropriate system updates and is responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. S/He is responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition and is responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Other duties assigned as needed will be performed.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in relevant discipline is required. A minimum of two years of related engineering experience is required. A Masters degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience in the medical device industry is preferred. High proficiency with MS Office applications is required. ERP system experience is required and JD Edwards preferred. Experience with advanced planning is required. Process orientation with the ability to logically organize and outline processes is required. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally across all levels of the organization is required. Six sigma and lean certifications are preferred. Understanding of business acumen across the Manufacturing and the Supply Chain is required. The ability to lead activities across functions related to system implementations is required. This position is based in Irwindale, CA and may require up to 10% travel.
