No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description The Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) seek qualified candidates that apply Supply Chain Management methodologies to ensure on time delivery of products and services. Works cross functionally with multiple organizations such as Supplier Management, engineering, quality assurance, production coordinators, suppliers, and customers to arrive at optimal solutions. Investigates complex ordering conditions and makes purchasing decisions based on supply chain best practices. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Identifies, analyzes, develops, and implements best practices, processes, and procedures. Validates engineering demand information and works to correct as necessary to ensure the correct parts are being ordered to support production requirements. Supports process improvement works shops and recommends changes to new or existing policies and procedures. Team player who has the ability to work under minimal direction in a new and changing production environment. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have previous work experience with MRP/ERP systems ordering parts in support of production requirements? Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition? Do you have previous work experience using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)? Typical Education/Experience Level 2 - Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
