Position Description The Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) seek qualified candidates that apply Supply Chain Management methodologies to ensure on time delivery of products and services. Works cross functionally with multiple organizations such as Supplier Management, engineering, quality assurance, production coordinators, suppliers, and customers to arrive at optimal solutions. Investigates complex ordering conditions and makes purchasing decisions based on supply chain best practices. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Identifies, analyzes, develops, and implements best practices, processes, and procedures. Validates engineering demand information and works to correct as necessary to ensure the correct parts are being ordered to support production requirements. Supports process improvement works shops and recommends changes to new or existing policies and procedures. Team player who has the ability to work under minimal direction in a new and changing production environment. Other Job related information All employees will be on the Boeing Charleston benefit structure. All Boeing Commercial Airplane Charleston positions will require an online pre-employment assessment test. Candidates selected for the test will be notified via e-mail. Candidates must be available for shifts that may be required to support manufacturing and the build plan. Previous experience and knowledge of 787 Materials Management processes, policy and procedures is a plus.
