No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies and coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers to arrive at optimal solutions. Investigates complex ordering conditions. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM. Verifies the released engineering Bills of Material (BOM) has been correctly implemented into the material planning system. Coordinates and support process improvements. Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies. Participates in cross functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques. Works under minimal direction. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have previous work experience in a Supply Chain related role? Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition? Do you have previous work experience using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)? Typical Education/Experience Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
