Supply Chain Director
A leading provider of instrumentation, controls, and services to the oil and gas, natural gas, pipeline, petrochemical, power generation, and marine markets is seeking a Supply Chain Director. We have one of the largest territories and largest customer bases in the industry, and are privileged to serve and deliver innovative, superior products and services to our customers in more than 8 states.

Job Purpose
The a Supply Chain Director is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective flow and storage of products and related information from the point of origin to the point of delivery for the purpose of meeting customer requirements and company goals for capital deployment.
Job Duties
- Manage the Supply Chain Department – consisting of procurement, pricing, inventory transfers, product data management, and inventory management activities – in accordance with government and corporate policies, procedures and regulations.
- Plan, conduct, and direct procurement and fulfillment programs, ensuring integration between branch operations.
- Manage storage and inventory control products, ensuring inventory levels that provide optimal safety stock, and result in asset turnover consistent with efficient support of product sales and services, as well as competitive market intelligence.
- Forecast slow-moving inventory, and manage the disposition of slow-moving and obsolete inventory through various liquidation channels.
· Monitor corporate and branch inventory control results using physical counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain inventory product data, including prices, descriptions, item numbers (SKUs), etc.
- Track and report pre-determined key supply chain-related performance indicators.
- Plan, organize, and manage projects to capitalize on both continuous improvement and stepwise improvement opportunities.
- Develop and manage procurement plans for company operations and expansion projects.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from four-year college; 7 years experience in supply chain management, preferably in natural gas production and/or compression industries
· Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook; proficiency with SyteLine 8 a plus
· CPIM designation a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively – both verbally and in writing – with vendors and coworkers
- Strong team work and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to change and able to work well with all levels of RES management, staff, and outside clients and vendors
- Background and DMV check required
- Initial drug screening and random drug screening required
