The Supply Chain Manager will work cross functionally with internal departments, the supplier community and the distribution center network to enhance, standardize and implement Supply Chain processes, drive efficiencies and improve service. This individual will also be responsible for the overall management of a $6.5M revenue line.
Job Description:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
1. Work with internal and external partners to address strategic issues pertaining to both Inbound and Outbound Transportation
2. Direct the development of Transportation analytics necessary to drive the business
3. Oversee the management of the Supplier Compliance Program
4. Oversee technology enhancements and implementations of key Supply Chain applications such as eAppointment, Yard Management, and Digital Imagery
5. Oversee Freight Claim and OSD (over, short and damage) processes
6. Manage ad hoc projects related to Supply Chain solutions and process improvement
Requirements:
Qualifications for the Supply Chain Manager:
1. 5-10 years experience
2. Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain of related field required, MBA preferred
3. Ability to work cross functionally with multiple internal business units and the DC management teams
4. Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills required
5. Capacity to effectively communicate with all levels of management
6. Proven ability to manage a results driven team required
