Supply Chain Planner Job in Cork

The Supply Chain Production Planner will be responsible for planning and execution of the company's High Volume Subcontract services / Foundry Services throughout the world. This role will execute requirements from MRP / ERP system as a result of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensure subcontractors/suppliers deliver to support the MPS. He/she reports to the International High Volume Manager.

* Establishes forecasting process to subcontractors/suppliers; measure and monitor company performance to forecast; ensures company allocations exist within each subcontractor/supplier.
* Communicates daily with subcontractor to support company backlog / forecast requirements.
* Plans /manages/develops all subcontract/supplier activities from die bank, assembly, and test.
* Develops subcontractor supplier scorecards base on key metrics (quality, OTD, lead-time, etc); communicates results to management / foundries; develop corrective action programs if subcontractors are underperforming.
* Maintains all MRP planning parameters in ERP system (leadtimes, supplier information, MRP parameters) to ensure MRP system is operating properly.
* Works closely with company's Asia Operations team to ensure the company capacity allocations exist to support MPS.
* Ensures all documentation is in place to support build requirements at subcontractor.
* Establishes/maintains all ISO documentation to support functions.
* Responsible for the assessment of existing processes and procedures and contribute to improving efficiency and elimination of non-value added activities.
* Responsible for the development of stocking strategies for key raw materials (i.e. leadframes).

Qualifications, Education Experience:

Bachelors Degree is required or international equivalent. APICS certification is a plus. Greater than 5 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing Planning / Purchasing role is required. Semiconductor industry experience is preferred. He/she must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. Epicor ERP system experience is a plus.
