Supply Chain Planner, Lakewood, NJ

General Purpose:

Responsible for developing and maintaining a production schedule that maximizes customer service, plant efficiency, and labor utilization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 1. Generate a collaborative production schedule for commercialized and R D products. 

 2. Maximize plant efficiency through effective use of equipment and personnel.

3. Create a production plan that meets stated goals for on-time delivery and schedule volatility.

 4. Monitor schedule adherence and schedule attainment; identify corrective actions to address shortfalls.

5. Determine short-term labor requirements to support plan.

6. Interface with Corporate ERP system as necessary to ensure timeliness and accuracy; evaluate and verify routings for accuracy; update and maintain support databases as required

 7. Identify and resolve potential capacity constraints in compounding and manufacturing

 8. Coordinate project schedules and incorporate into commercial production schedule

 9. Conduct schedule meetings as required

 10. Work with Account Management to convey current order status and maintain sales order accuracy.

Bachelors Degree, APICS Certification a plus.

Experience:

3-5 years preferrably in a Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or RD environment.
