Position Description

This person will lead, administer and analyze C17 post production supply chain data, high value and/or lengthy bills of material, defines min/max material stocking levels, reorder points, quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases. Leads and monitors customer repair allocation, delivery schedules and projections. Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include USAF (United States Air Force) ALC (Air Logistics Center) repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of material configuration change impacts to C17 supply chain support systems. Integrates supply processes, oversees processing and documentation of repair items. Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution actions. Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies. Conducts and supports supplier/customer presentations, program reviews and communicates integration of Boeing processes with customers.

Typical Education/Experience

Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is for a Supply Chain Management Specialist supporting C17 Depot Partnering Activation and Sustainment projects, performing as the C17 SCM liaison, ensuring integrated operational support between Boeing and the USAF Air Logistic Center located at Warner Robins AFB, Warner Robins Ga. This candidate will plan, manage and synchronize supply chain activity between various organizations, customers and suppliers. Apply experience to investigate and develop solutions of moderate scope and complexity, supply chain planning, analysis, estimating, development of new processes, scheduling, tracking repairs thru the USAF ALC process. This Boeing liaison will participate at customer meetings, status C17 repair workload, communicate support factors impacting ALC repair performance, capacity and changes in USAF policy. No relocation funds are available for this position.
