Location Hindon Air Force Station;McChord AFB, WA Security Clearance Required? Ability to Obtain Interim Clearance (Pre-Start) and Final Clearance (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Provide onsite supply chain logistical support to include import/export expertise for new C17 Field Services base opening 2013 in India. The actual work location for this position will be at the C17 main operating base, IAF Hindon near New Delhi, India. Coordinate activities to support provisioning and product deliverables. Maintain accurate inventory control of assets and monitor customer requirements. Analyze data to determine inventory change requirements. Analyze information and coordinate with others to determine maintenance repair and/ or corrective action. Investigate feasibility repair/ overhaul, review applicability of warranties to allocate costs. Be familiar in the use of Technical Orders, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns and Federal/Commercial parts identification data to verify parts requirements. Work in a warehouse environment and perform some touch labor tasks. Execute stock, store, and issue responsibilities for the IAF inventory programs and processes. Familiar with Microsoft Office software to analyze procurement data for logistical support problems and review stockage process to determine present and future availability of required spares. Work with senior military officials to include General Officers. Use business and communication experience to make decisions and work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating the ability to adapt to a non-English speaking cultural environment. Do you have experience in logistics support operations? Typical Education/Experience Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information Requires US Citizenship to obtain security clearance (prefer current clearance) and a Common Access Card for Air Force systems. Must relocate to India; be able to think outside the box; and execute to program objectives. Prefer familiarity with Indian languages and culture; experience with site activation / mission execution in a bare-base environment; working with international customers; field experience supporting airlift; knowledge of Boeing C17 spares, supply support processes and procedures, and United States Air Force logistics support operations and systems; expertise in import/export processes and procedures; knowledge of C17 engineering drawings, and C17 Repair of Repairables (ROR) process. Familiarity with Boeing Material Management systems - Government Online Data systems (GOLD) and Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS), and Air Force Material Management systems (SBSS, D043, DTOS, and G081). Work may include after-hours and weekends.
